Low beam
Low beam is for close-range lighting, and the lighting distance is generally within 50 meters. It is mainly used to see the road in front of you clearly.
Correct use of low beam:
1. On roads without central isolation facilities or center lines, low beam should be used 150 meters away from the opposite direction when meeting at night.
2. When meeting with non-motor vehicles on narrow roads and narrow bridges, low beam should be used.
In low-light environments, it should be turned on as soon as possible.
High beam
When driving at night, high beam can illuminate a longer distance, helping us to detect obstacles and vehicles ahead in advance.
⚠️Misuse of high beam can easily cause traffic accidents!
Correct use of high beam:
1. High beam can be used on roads without street lighting or poor lighting, but when meeting other vehicles and pedestrians, switch to low beam to prevent glare.
2. If you are not familiar with the road conditions and need to see road signs and other signs, you can use high beams, and switch to low beams quickly after seeing clearly.
3. When a motor vehicle overtakes at night, it should turn on the left turn signal in advance, switch between high and low beams, or honk the horn to remind the vehicle in front to pay attention to avoid.
4. When driving at corners, curves, and intersections without signal lights at night, you can switch between high and low beams as a reminder.
5. When a motor vehicle is driving at night without street lights, poor lighting, or in low visibility conditions such as fog, rain, snow, dust, hail, etc., it should turn on the headlights, clearance lights, and rear position lights, but when the rear vehicle driving in the same direction is driving close to the front vehicle, the high beams shall not be used.
Fog lights
Fog lights are divided into front fog lights and rear fog lights. The front fog lights are used for lighting, and the rear fog lights are used for warning.
Fog lights can help drivers improve visibility in foggy weather and inform the vehicles behind to pay attention to avoid.
⚠️ In foggy weather, the front and rear fog lights are usually used together.

Correct use of fog lights:
1. Fog lights need to be turned on in foggy or rainy days. Before turning on the fog lights, you need to turn on the clearance lights first, and then turn on the fog light switch. For example, if you turn on the front fog lights first and then the rear fog lights, the fog lights will automatically go out when you turn off the clearance lights.
2. Do not use fog lights when driving in rainless and fogless weather, as it will affect the vision of the driver behind you.
3. When driving in foggy weather, fog lights cannot be used in conjunction with high beam lights; when visibility is less than 200 meters, turn on fog lights and low beam lights, the speed must not exceed 60 kilometers per hour, and you must keep a distance of more than 100 meters from the vehicle in front of you in the same lane.
